Couldn't help noticing the figure in the far distance in Frank Orrell's cobbled street photo and its resemblance to the work of LS Lowry, at least that's what i thought. Have placed them side by side for comparison.

Keith; hadn`t noticed this figure. Thought that L S Lowry only painted matchstalk figures until I went to The Lowry at Salford Quays. Have read Geoffrey Shryhane`s `L.S.Lowry, Artist of the People.`

The figure on the left looks like a female due to the hand bag on the arm.
And the figure on the right is a meercat ( Simples )
