Nice home knitted jumper. Did your Mam Knit it? Every young lad had that hair cut, you were dead trendy.

I remember in the 50's orders from Mama for the barber! Short back and sides, a bit off the top and nothing off the front. One day I rebelled and came back with a crew cut. Mama mia!

Hi Ian, Happy New Year. great photo I have one similar probably a school photo taken at St. James J.I. Worsley Mesnes when were 6/7. about 1958/59.I remember when we were skinheads,you ,me, Bri Brownlow,Graham Ramwell and others I can't recollect. best dressed skinheads, then Mods in Worsley Mesnes, if not the whole of Wigan. I remember some of the lads & girls from our year at school, Steve Sherrington, Ian Campbell ,Alan Smart, David Fairhurst, Lol Thorpe,( still see Lol around town have a chat.)the girls I remember Carole Heaton, Debra Paxton, Linda Phoenix, Marie Porter, Laura Richardson, Margaret Loughran and Sandra Dean,(still see Margaret and Sandra around town and have a chat) they were happy days then Ian, I may see you at the Latics games again Ian, all the best mate.
