Picture of Catherine Olivia Platt & David Warburton with child, taken in the 1900's.
Catherine was born in 1868 at 12, New Lodge, Wigan lane, Wigan. Daughter of John Platt (Engine Fitter) & Elizabeth Pendlebury. David was born in 1866 at Sale Lane, Tyldesley. Son of Thomas Warburton (Inn Keeper) & Betty Baker.
They married in Tyldesley parish church 1887.

Thomas Warburton pub landlord of the red lion sale lane was my great grandfather so I suppose that makes these people in the picture my great uncle ( grandad's brother)and aunt and distant cousin..
david warburton was the son of thomas warburton not his brother. thomas was my great great grandad and david my great grandad

David's father was Thomas, but he also had a brother Thomas
