Here we go again... Back to the family snap shots!!!!
After some recent good Wigan related photographs.What has this go to do with Wigan? Everybody must have thousands like this. No interest to anyone.

Speak for yourself, Freddie...I think these pics are brilliant. They show the changing times of our social history. Great pics for great times.

Why is it of no interest? I always look at photos such as these to see if I can pick out anyone I know. Anybody who regards themself as a Wiganer is entitled to put any picture they like on this site, not just "Interesting" pictures for non contributers!

Got to say scaramone! and Wigan winge! I love these photo's because they are of my sister and brother-in-law who emigrated to Australia in 1971, and this was taken when they came back for a visit 20years later,so there you have it!!!!!!!!!!!

Will all the people on W.W. only post photographs that scaramouche likes, and are of interest to him alone.Thankyou

What do you expect photos in the 'People' section to be of? I would have been more surprised if it had been a house or a pub.

Love looking at the fashions, great local history photo. Noticed pints of lager not bitter. Women wearing tights. Oh I really have enjoyed looking at this. More, please.

"WIGAN'S HISTORY"!!!! How old are you 20.? The recent pics put on the site by Allan Hughes and Keith show Wigan's History. As has been already said EVERYBODY has photos like this i.e. Family get togethers. Let's have REAL historical photos.

I honestly can't believe some of the comments your received on the pictures you posted, you certainly don't need to justify your self to people who for what reason seem to think its clever to make derogatory remarks.
Some pictures were posted recently which brought back lots of happy memories for me so because they weren't taken 100 years ago they didn't mean anything.
Keep on posting your pictures with the satisfaction that 99.9 of the people on Wigan world approve are enjoying them.

I have never seen such rude ignorant posts. Is it the unusually hot weather or what? Surely some of these bad tempered , ill-mannered folk are not Wiganers??
People are free to post as they like , within reason. Grow up for Heaven's sake. Perhaps Brian could start a fresh site for all these mean spirited folk so they could all aggravate each other.Rant over.... its far much hotter here , by the way ....

If all of you are interested, please refer to Oxford dictionary, for their definition of Scaramouch. It is quite enlightening.

It means 'buffoon' amongst other things... good description of the moanners , trolls and winder-uppers on here who have nothing better to do.

It doesnt matter, if the persons in the photo are known to me or not, its great to look at these photos of yesteryear, clothes, hairstyles, wondering where the venue was etc, Scaramouche is unbelievably rude!!
