Thanks for this photo. I used to live in the Vic and that spot is the exact spot where I met my husband nearly forty years ago. I will show him when he gets home from work. Thanks so much for the memory Eileen . . . it brought a few tears to my eyes and wonderful memories to my mind.
Do you know my brother Alan and his wife Greta,who is on the photo,they were regulars,that night we was in at lockdown
I know the name but can't place the face at the moment, my memory works slowly now. My dad was Jimmy Eatock.

I am in the blue and my sister-in-law Greta in the black,she used to be a bar maid,so would be recognisable,the others were introduced,I am not good with names,it was 22 years ago.

Mike was telling me that when alan came over from Australia he took him round the prison where he worked as alan worked in adelaide prison and asked mike to show him round
When i showed him the photo he said he remembered alan and greta

It was Brian who lived and worked in Adelaide prison,I think he had a visit to Walton and Bickershaw, he was married to my sister Eileen(blue frock).Alan is our brother who still lives in the area
Hi Peter,my husband was Brian and worked at Adelaide Gaol,and went with someone to spend the day at Strangeways.(think that's were it was)Alan is my brother.

It was mick who took him to the prison
Apparently they did the same job in the prisons either side of the world
Mick has a son in queensland and i have a daughter in adelaide
We are both coming out there for christmas
