Wigan Album

Taken in front of Wigan Parish Church. My sister Hilda married Joseph Morris. Myself, the best man, am on the extreme left. The couples parents are in their customary positions. The bridesmaid on the extreme right is Joe`s sister Madge.
The Morris family lived in Spring St. which is off Darlington St.
Many Wiganers knew Joe Morris, as he owned a coach which he garaged in Queen St. During the week he took millworkers to Rochdale and took Morris dancers at week-ends.
