Lizzie What a lovely photo. Was Mere Oaks a school then and was this taken from Wigan Lane.

Ann 21 it was an old Victorian house......this is before the school was built on the site after the old house was demolished.....it was a quite large house divided into flats....my parents had one of them.....the gardens were quite extensive and we loved to play in them and explore....mum kept an eye on us though....it was a walled garden so quite safe from the road....cheers!!!
