I spent hours playing ludo in the early 60s with my aunty Ethel Hoofe. A wonderfully evocative photo.
I love this photograph, the affection between these two is plain to see.
This little boy(Could well have been me at my grandmas 10 years earlier) had never heard of an X Box, DVD's, Game Boy, Mobile Phone. but he was 100 times happier than today's kids. I bet he thought it was great playing a game of Ludo.
John Alcock was Looked after by my two sisters and mother from his toddler days; he was an only child and may have liked the company.
Where is he now?
