Sorry, it should have been Gt, Gt. She was Mary Mason (1837 - 1915). Married George Wilcock in 1860 at St Georges, Wigan.
Although Luke is not a direct branch on my tree, is it OK if I save a copy of this picture for my records?

Fert, his aunt's were called Ann and Eve Mason but not his sisters. Luke was the youngest out of 12 brothers and sisters. They were Thomas, Ellen, Nancy, Sarah Alice, William, Mary (Polly), Joseph, Maria, John, Noah, Adam and Luke.

Correct! soldier Luke's father was Adam. His elder sister Ann
married my G-G Uncle, and then a generation later his sister Eve( as she wed Mr Parkinson) produced her Noah.... Noah married my G-Aunt. All on my Dad's side. It was a pleasant surprise and really satisfying sorting that little connection out. Really nice to see what one of the Mason's looked like, after chasing them round Newtown/Pem.
My Grandfather and a child aunt are buried with Noah and his wife Maria in St John Pem. My G-Grandfather in his old age lived with his daughter and son in law Noah Parkinson (Eve's son) and he is also with them in St Johns.
Noah and wife had a girl child (my Dad's cousin Evelyn) - so there is another Grrrrrr Grandchild for Mr and Mrs Adam Mason, should she need 'gathering in'.

I have a photo of Mary Mason (Lukes Auntie) in her later years. I'll see if I can find it and post.
