I'm sure my husbands grandma lived in Holme avenue, mrs sisson, she was from he hart(fabrics) family. I think she lived there with her second husband jack Jameson who sold the hawkley hall estate to broseley homes in the early 70's

Wasn`t the road facing,swinley lane? I was born at number 16.remember in later years that holme ave.was very near.used to go to st.michaels school with a girl who lived in holme ave....think her name was vera (winstanley?)
