Found in a box of family photo's, anyone recognise him?

His shoulder title is the Auxiliary Military Pioneer Corps (AMPC) On 22 November 1940 the name was changed from the AMPC to the Pioneer Corps. His cap badge on the first photo seems to be of the pioneer Corps, but hard to positively ID.

Thanks for that, I have now identified him from your info on the button. He isn't who I thought he was. I thought he was a Lee relative, but he is a George Ainscough and I have all his Military record. You are correct, he was in the Pioneer Corps and later the Lancashire Fusiliers.
