Mother and father pose after they married at Christ Church in Parbold in 1947. Mam worked at Trencherfield Mill and Dad a printer for The Wigan Observer.

Thankyou Maureen, dad sadly died at just 61 in 1979, mam now in her mid 80s, still lives in the same house after they married and where I was born.
