Hi Joan, just got back from Ireland, been on holiday doing family history. sorry I got your surname wrong. I remember Aunty Joan taking me to Mother Roony's when I was a child. Do you remember me?

Yes Joan we did call everybody Mother, it was so nice. My brother is Michael, he emigrated to South Africa in 1982 and he's still there. It's lovely to talk to you after all these years. I remember such happy memories of Ince tooing and frooing between families. Seems we've lost a lot of that now sad really. I remember playing with you in Mother Rooney's yard and their house seemed so much bigger than my mammy's, don't know if it was but to a child it looked much bigger.

Hi Chris, I remembered your brothers name after I left comment, I think I saw him at your Auntie Mary's daughters funeral, what a very sad day that was for everyone and she was so young, Do you still see your Auntie Mary, and her granddaughter. and like you said it is good to be in touch with you. I remember when I was little girl and had to go to the eye dept at wigan infirmary we used to see your Auntie Teresa she wa case she used to ask my mum did she want a cig and my mum used to say u cant smoke in here teresa, and she replied bye the time they have seen you and told u to put it out u have had ur smoke hahaha. Our Kathryn is just like ur Auntie Mary and our Julie is just like Teresa. x

Yes Joan I'm still in touch with A Mary, always have been, her and my mum were very close, it was a terrible time when we lost our dear Debs I was very close to her, she was more like my sister than cousin, Lucy is now 19 and just like her mum. Well, A. Teresa was something else, she never would abide by anybody's rules, she did whatever she chose to. I no longer have any contact with her kids, don't know what's happened to them, lost contact a long time ago, shame really. I really liked Aunty Joan she was always lovely with me as a child, I remember her and U. Thomas taking me to Blackpool on a day trip when I was very small, before they had Catherine & Julie.
