Tommy assisted me on many occasions in his capacity as a Special, when I served as a regular PC at Wigan and Pemberton.
A gentleman.
My uncle. A true gentleman and one of the nicest guys ever to walk the planet.
I also remember him when I worked at Pemberton and agree he was a very nice chap.
Whats he doing now?
I dont remember him having 3 hands, as it appears in this photo!!
I worked with Tommy for years as a special, he was a great bloke with a cracking sense of humour. Sadly Dave he is no longer with us.
dave..sadly our tommy died 2 years since and is missed very much..
the third hand is my mother in laws she is at the side of him on the photo

I didn't know this gentleman, but what lovely memories his family and friends hold. Wish there were more like him today.

Tommy Woodcock new him at HJH a lovely lad, liked by everybody. Really sorry he has passed away.
I also worked with Tommy he was a lovely man and as Geoff says had a fab sense of humour, I was so sorry to hear of his death - a cracking chap
Tommy was a great friend and the best neighbour you could ever have, we all miss him.
Hi I am a relative of tommy his mother was aunty Mary I think she was my grandmother's sister. I live at Standish and Tommy used to be at our Walking day I used to talk with him so sorry he is no longer with us my condolences to you all.
Auntie Caath, I've just stumbled across this...thank you so much for posting it, and thank you everyone for the lovely comments about my dad, he was one of the best and we were very proud to have him as our dad...he is very sadly missed.
A great man who taught me a lot of things and always had my back, strong but gentle, firm but fair! Miss you so much dad x
