Lovely photo Pauline, and great memories for you aswell. I see you say sadly passed away, was your dad know as E.T.on Wigan World? I say this because I haven't seen his comments lately, I'm very sorry if it is your dad, it must be only a few months ago since he died.

Hi Pauline, it's a cracking photo of your mum, love those goggles on top of her head they're like re-entry shields. You're dad looked after his AJS bike too with it being highly polished.

Thanks for the lovely comments, my dad is not the same Eric turner as the one who use to come on wworld they just happen to have the same name. I read somewhere on here? that an Eric t, had died and was well know on here. My mum loved the bike goggles un all(ha ha). My dad also use to have a matchless clubman and use to fly on it, dont think mum minded it was a thrill, the roads were not full of hazards like they are today.

As soon as I saw that picture I knew it was Annie, sadly gone and very much missed, also your dad Eric (g3ttl) who not a week goes by that I do not think of him.
