I don't know who this group of men are but they look like they have been to a wedding, all i do know is they are sitting on the wall in Harvey lane Golborne, i think that wall is still there, i think it is a bridge of some kind

I have seen similar photos of groups of young men in their best togs with a flower in their lapels and they were advertising the fact that they were available as agricultural labourers on the farmers market day in town.

It certainly is, it is the bridge over Millingford brook between Whitlow Ave. and Edgeworth Rd. Not too sure which way we are looking as there has been so much development on the North side of harvey Lane, but i would hazard a guess that it is looking south towards the East Lancs Rd..

I think the one in the middle looks like Bryan Robson, in his younger days.
