Roy Jayne was the brother of Joe. He worked as a collier all his life. He and his family were members of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

I remember going to the home of Roy and Doris Jayne when I was young, they were a lovely couple.
This picture is my uncle Roy he was married to my dad's sister Doris Johnson they had two children Bernard and Dorothy Bernard is now no longer with us Dorothy is still alive and lives with her husband Bill.they lived in Ridyard street new town just a little further down from where I lived.

This is a picture of my husbands Grandad and is the spitting image of our son Liam... Remarkable likeness
