Brilliant! What a lovely photo of little lads in what seems a more innocent time. You used to get a ten shilling note (or was it a pound?)in a brown envelope to spend at Southport. I remember we girls always bought a little heart-shaped brooch with our name on... Irene or Susan or Kathleen or Linda.(I can't see them with Kylie or Jordan on somehow, can you?!)

What ablast from the past can remember Alan & Harold dont remember "tothers"

bloody hell...this is a blast...knew alan and harold...think harolds nick name was "Flaggy" they lived in a little cottage close turt labur club .. and yep it was 10 bob wit trip...all piled on buses parked up side of the park. old mr thompson always seemd to run it.. best suit polished clogs and a flat nebber plus gowld chain on his waiscut watch lol
