Taken in Back Lane, Holland Moor about 1950.
My Granny & Grandpa Bryson from St Clements Rd,
Wigan must have been visiting us. The other 2 people are my sister Anne Bradshaw & my mother Agnes.
I first learnt to ride a bike in Back Lane...sister saying ' it's ok, I've got you ' half way down I realised she hadn't... & promptly fell off.

There is only one back lane or was when I was growing up, I also learned to ride my bike in this area. It was quite safe back then.Hope some more old photos of this area are to be had . Or any of around the Holland moor area would be great.
