A closer view of the names on the plaque. At the time of its dedication 120 names were inscribed on the plaque. The Parish Magazine for September 1921 listed a further 8 whose names were to be added. It may be seen that one name had been added after the rest in this photograph. There simply wasn't space to add a further 8 in like manner - so the signwriter had to start again....
