I remember it well. I believe the pub was known locally as "t'top longpull". Just out of shot on the right side, above the parked car was an electrical goods shop called Lenegan's. Does anyone know if this was connected to the family of Wigan Warrior's new owner, Ian Lenegan?

My grandparents had the Windmill Pub and left in 1965 when it was demolished.
