Standisher, I'm not sure about the man second left but going off my childhood memories, I wondered if it is Jimmy Houghton who was a friend of my parents? I think this photo is from before I was born so he would have looked a bit older when I was growing up but I too felt I knew him as soon as I saw the photo. He lived in Leaway if I remember rightly. He is certainly a familiar face to me.

It is Jimmy Houghton, sat beside him on his right is his wife Clara. They're my husbands grandparents.
