Hmmmmm ... David, this photo was actually taken by ME! (on Thursday the 16th of July 1987) ...
The guy shown in the photo is Wigan Wallgate signalman Cyril Peers who is on duty & working the 1400-2200 late shift.
I already uploaded this photo myself to Wigan World several years ago (item number #:14727) ..
