This part plan shows St Catharine's Infants and Junior school on Catherine St. The large pub next to Elizabeth St is the Mount Pleasant. My Grandfather Jack Critchley played the piano there during the 40s and for many years after. He couldn't read a note of music but could play anything after hearing a tune only once.
