What committee is it? Where is the charabanc going?
Im told it is scholes labour club committee .Scholes was the first labour club to open in wigan in 1911.
Great photo. What I like best are the faces of the children in the coach window, having a great time, probably on their way to Blackpool.
Good photo. Mt Grandfather was Jimmy Shallicker, Rueben my Gt. Uncle. Jimmy lived on Caunce Street. Fought in WW1- Somme. Have F.Tree.
Jim Shallicker was a friend of my Great Grandad and Wigan RL trainer Tommy McCarty . He was Tom's second when he defeated W Pritchard Wrestling Champion of Wales shortly before WW1. I have some newspaper articles.
