Crispin regulars, 1951, apart from my sister Anne Bowen seen here with our dog Twm (a Welsh name for Tom), Arthur Burgess is also sitting next to the dog. On the back row, extreme left is Arthur Bibby, who with his brother Norman Bibby ran Clarington Haulage, their offices were directly opposite the pub. The other three I do not have names for except that sitting next to Arthur is a member of the Holding family. Norman Bibby, Arthur's brother, later became Chairman of the Wigan Rugby League Club.
