Cooksons Farm circa 1920's taken from the rear. Standing in the doorway with the white hair is my Great Grandad farmer Fred Hope. My grandad Joseph Hope is stood at the side with a flat cap on.

Roy Hope was my uncle he died young with cancer when I was a baby. My mum is Roy's sister Margaret Hope

If you look at the upper window on the left it is in the middle of the two windows to the right, it would be interesting to know the plan of this house could it be a staircase although it doesn't appear to be that type of window

My mum lived in this house. The window was on the staircase. There were three floors with four large rooms off each of the two landings. From the photograph of the front of the house you can see that the top floor had the windows built in to the roofline. The photograph of the front of the house shows a date stone above the top left window. The date stone said RE 1706.
