Was this picture taken outside the old Ashton Conservative club in Princess Road ?

All these band photos are from a book by local bandsman Keith Hollinshead.The book is called the Major and his band.
I have a first edition signed with thanks by Keith for the help and encouragement I gave him in the writing of his book.I had hold of the book yesterday and will check out if it says where it was taken.

I think the building is the Gerard Arms Gerard Street

I dont think the steps to the Gerrard Arms were rounded! I stand to be corrected though.

I love the little chap hanging onto the window ledge determined to get in on the act!

When I saw this I thought it looked like The Gerrard Arms, I vaguely recall the steps being like that in the fifties.

To WP: I have no idea which pub this was but the steps to the Gerard Arms were rounded as in the photo.
