can anybody remember the woman who lived in the first house next to the cottage,she used to do sewing for people

Hi Shirley, it's Mrs Rotherham your thinking of. I remember she used to have dresses all over the place when it was Trinity Sunday coming up, always very busy.

Mrs Rotheram used to make all my dresses when i was girl she used to do her sewing in a well built shed in her back garden,she also used to be part of a comedy act at the concerts at Our Ladys parish hall the only other person i can remember was Mrs Boffey they where very good.
