What memories this photo brings back ! I`m an 81yr old Wiganer and didn`t know they sold sweets especially for

I remember Invalid Toffee. It was a hard tan coloured cross between fudge and caramel. I remember reading somewhere that it was called "invalid" because it was a favourite of people in hospitals.
