High street IS still there, but not the houses directly behind.By the way the picture was taken in Penson St. Sorry about that Tony.

Who has posted this photograph? Just wondered as it was not me!By the way, high street is definitely still there!Also, it appears to be the VE day party, not the coronation. Would appreciate who has mentioned my name above this photograph

To be quite honest I don't think this was the coronation, more like the end of the war.I also think the boy front left is Sid Eccleston, front right maybe Trevor Monks.The lady on the right is definitely Leah Perry.
