Parade in St Pauls Avenue Goose Green, does anyone know what the parade was for and what year.
the girl with the black top is susan wilson,next to her is valerie moss,and next to her i think it could be christine hayes? not sure.girl in the middle with the hat on is dawn cornish.year no later than 1970.not sure what the parade was for.will try to find out. thanks anne great photo.

Thank you Anne for sharing this photo with us. It brings back happy memories, I remember how we organised the parade and chose the costumes.

It is me in the Tartan skirt. It is Christine Hayes, Valerie Moss[who I see regularly in Asda]and Dawn Cornish in the photo also, wearing the hat. It was May Day Parade in 1970. Most of us hired costumes from Sheila Unsworth. All the proceeds went to the School.
