On both of the photographs of Langdale Ave. there isn't a car in sight. You could play football, cricket, in the street without getting disturbed with traffic. Although not many people had cars in those days. Were we Happier???? You bet we were.

Im up for that Peter, just let me get my MOT out of the way this friday and then, maybe we can arrange something, maybe Rivington Barn,??
I now live in the first house that you can see on the left No. 13, a lot has changed in 50 years.
How could you play cricket, no trees for stumps.Ha ha
