The before & after places look to be very neat & tidy. I have wondered if a modern type of prefab could be constructed for housing these days. Back in the 1950s a school friend lived in a ex war prefab, it was well made & a cosy home. I suppose its not feasible land being the price it is, housing today has to reach towards the sky.
