Not sure exactly which part of Chapel Lane this was (possibly what we used to call little Chapel Lane where the Presbyterian Chapel was)

Can't work out where this is? There appears to be a cinema on the right, but can't ever remember reading about any cinemas being in Chapel Lane? Can anyone put a name to it? I'm intrugued

The photo is taken at the junction of King St and Chapel Lane looking towards Millgate. The walls on the left are the back of the Borough Courts. A map of 1912 shows the tramlines terminating there as you can see from the photo.

My grandmother Daisy Wood lived here as a young lady at one stage.. 3 Chapel Lane. I like to think she could easily have been with those onlookers. In 1900 she would have been aged just 17.
