John...my old schoolfriends parents lived on Snowden Avenue,did you know them..it would have been in the 60-70s..I know it's a long shot but their surname was mcGovern,thank you.

Does not ring a bell, if you know the number of the house that could help and what was your friends first name she may know my sister Linda.

MR AND MRS MCGOVERN LIVED AT NO 72 THE ONLY HOUSE IN THE STREET WITH A TELEPHONE,MR MCGOVERN WOULD LET ANYBODY IN THE STREET TO USE IT IF IT WAS IMPORTANT,REALLY NICE PEOPLE,AS THEY ALL WERE IN THOSE DAYS.

Now that Barry as refreshed my mine yes I did know them they lived between the Sixsmiths and the Irlands three doors from where I lived. Barry will put some more photos of Raymond on tomorrow on the vicarage reck.

John..their names were Elsie and Martin..and their children were Irene and Martin.

Barry..thank you for those kind words..we weren't related at all but I started school with Irene,and remained friends until she passed away last year.
