Another superb photograph of bygone Wigan. Just goes to show that many wiganworlders have some photographic GEMS in their possesion.

I remember Athertons bike shop on the corner of Park Road and Gidlow Lane. I worked at the butchers next door to the Pagefield but long after this photo was taken.
Walked up Gdlow Lane 2 years ago. First visit back for 34 years !!!
