Area of land where the bedsits and flats now stand in Holme Terrace. Corner of Steling St is visible, the main building was originally Cowburns pop factory, although at the time was being used as a repair/service depot for Comet.
The owner of the VW beatle is unknown, although I do beleive it's name was Herbie.

On Holme Terrace along from the Brockett Simon. The laundry was burned down in a fire in the 60s and the land shown above had a block of about 8 flats built on it.

holme terrace is where the brocket [weatherspoons pub]is just off mesnes road.
