David, I remember the Fairbrothers who lived in Douglas st. was their dad called Walter, Jenny was older than me. my mother knew the family very well. i cant wait to show her these photos. i will let you know what she says. ask jenny does she remember Betty Shields who lived in Douglas terrace.
Hello, The lady in this picture is Walter's sister but Walter did live their and he had a daughter called Jenny aswell who is the younger girl on the other picture and my grandmother

I'm tracing my family and lots of them lived on Douglas Street and Terrace...
The dates vary but are from around the 1860 s to the 1930s at least...
They were the Berry s....
Does anybody have anything at all they can tell me about the family at all or even the area...Please??
My fingers and toes are crossed someone out there can help me?!!
