My grandad arthur jones is seated on front row 4th from right wearing black tie, photo seems to be some sort of school play, school unknown but thought to be new springs area, he was born 1917 don't actually know his age here but its thought to be mid to late 20s.

I have put a very similar photo on here it is under WHELLEY CHAPEL it must hve been taken at the same time as this photo my dad told me the names of all the girls in the photo I put on including my mum and auntie I think my dad is on this one which I have seen in the past but it has been lost in time
it was definitely taken circa 1930 at WHELLEY CHAPEL my mum was born 1920 and she looks about 9or 10

your'e right kathleen, it is whelley chapel your photo and this photo is the same place, the wallpaper and surroundings are exactly the same,thanks for your info kath.

Kathleen, this photo must have been taken on same day, there are a few girls on your pic that are on mine, all with same uniforms, its uncanny that two photos appear after nearly 80yrs at the same time, thanks again kath.
