your'e right fred it's a fine machine, but what make is it the badge and the bonnet logo is familiar could it be a bentley.

The car is an "Austin Princess", similar to Wigans mayoral car at the time

Hi wayne, i thought it was a bentley but when arthur said it was a princess i could go along with that, he was around at the time i certainly was not.

You wouldn't see a Bentley or a Daimler with the "Flying A" mascot on the top of the radiator, or the "Winged Wheel" on the front...;o)

Just checked up on that Austin Princess. It was a special done in the "Rolls Royce Mode". Whatever that means. I have a photo tho' ;o)
