Last time I saw John he had shoulder length hair.
Must have been circa 1973.

hey does anyone remember bert marshsall is he on the pic. if so were. were does he reside now

Comment by: Bluesfan on 21st September 2008 at 09:54

Hi Hutch, Bert actually lives in the Bulldog factory. We found him floating down the duggie in a wicker basket when he was a baby. We took him in and raised him as one of our own. He lives on a diet of used tea bags and cat food but is quite happy in his own little way.

Comment by: William Burgess on 21st September 2008 at 20:22

Bert is 11 in from the right, top row, and lives right across from the main gates.

Comment by: Hutchs Warriors on 21st September 2008 at 22:16

Thanks William are you good friends with bert does he have a contact number id love to catch up with him as he is an old school friend

Comment by: Bulldog Bobby on 29th September 2008 at 19:24

How old was Bert in this photo. With his "Baby Face" looks you'd think he was just out of school.

Comment by: indispensible graveyard kid on 28th January 2009 at 06:49

What date or year when Brian retired?
I worked with Brian when he was Engineer - I worked for Group Services at the same time.
Bob Sabberton and myself formed the Cricket Team - Brian later joined the team.

Comment by: Has Been on 24th August 2010 at 20:14

I think Brian Scrivens retired in Sept 1996, but still played cricket in Cumbria well after he retired

Comment by: paul ex bulldog on 17th February 2013 at 11:06
