Springs Branch shunter Walt Edgar, 1976

Walter was the master of the shunting pole, he could lift a shackle with a blink of an eye and have a whole train hooked up and ready to go in minutes. He once tried to show me how to use a shaunting pole but i failed miserably, he certainly knew the art of being a shunter.
