My grandfather Thomas Maye who was the landlord of the Shamrock Pub, corner of Scholes and Wellington Street, Wigan, mid to late 1950s.
I have scant information on my grandparents, but am wondering if I am related to those referenced in this post. My grandmother, Margaret Healy's (dob 1905 - 1910?) family managed The Shamrock pub in Wigan. My grandfather, Martin Maye (dob 1900) worked in a local mine. My grandfather, Martin, was born in Ireland. I am very interested in information since I am traveling from the US to Ireland and England next week.
My father was the landlord of the shamrock pub for about 4 years in the late 1950' s I was born in the pub, April 1957, regards john
