Landlord of the Golden Lion Hotel, Wigan, c1955. Pulling a pint for one of George Cain's plasterers, after getting paid from Cain's office in Rowbottom Square. I was one of killer Cains plasterer's.

Was this pub on Wallgate, somewhere near where Staples is now?

There where two Golden Lion pubs on Wallgate this one pictured looks like the one next door to the Raven the other Golden Lion was down Wallgate I think it was a Swales pub

It was next to the Raven, pulling the pint was - I think - the landlord, Cyril Livesy.
