A new warp being tied up at the loom.
I remember this lady from when I worked in the weaving shed. She was Agnes Shambley and she lived near the bottom of Tunstall Lane before moving to Ferguson Rise. The photo would be taken about 1952

Remember this job well it was known as knotting, a work pal of mine did this job for many years, the knotting machine was named Uster there is a pic of this machine on my blog.

I remember Agnes very well,we became good friends in the 1970s
