What an absolute legend! I remember working a train to Carlisle with Jake and Alan Carter and supposed to be back pass. That didn't happen!!!! Ended up on the 'dancefloor' in Carlisle nightclub and then we all worked back a south-bound sleeper service (thanks to Crewe Control). I dropped off at Wigan (completely knackered) and Jake carried onto Crewe with Alan! Great memories:)
