Looking across from bottom of Coppull Lane towards the fenced off area where the new footbridge will be sited. According to my diary for this day, I was carrying out a review of the site prior to the EA carrying out an audit on the contractor's safety,health & environmental procedures for the scheme. Comments on Wigan World during that period mentioned about footpaths being closed off. In the next set of photographs the reason is shown.
