I remember the Harvey's red-seal bread and the blue delivery trucks BMC or Leyland FG (THREEPENNY BIT) CABS.
In the 1940s/50s the Harvey’s bakery was in Manley Street, Lower Ince, when Harvey’s left, it became a milk distributing depot.
Was Lowthers who made Eccles cakes, part of Harveys?
Lowthers was the original bakery in Cale Lane and later taken over by Harvey's.
