The two WPCs flanking the photograph would seem to indicate that it was a police-sponsored event of some kind - perhaps for Police wives?

Certainly is Amy, back row, as you mention Maureen. I think the uniform police woman on the right is Dorothy Lavery but I’m afraid I cannot identify any others.

Could the gentleman seated centre of the front row be Paul Foster, the Chief Constable?
